I really enjoy a cup of House Blend from Starbucks. I only wish they brewed it in their stores and not the horrid Pikes Place. I found them today at a small kitchen store in a outlet mall. The Starbucks House Blend is a very nice medium roasted coffee. It is a blend of latin american coffees. It has a very light body with a balanced nutty taste. It also has a lively or bright acidity to it that is so common in Latin American coffees (due to the processing methods and soil.) Overall it was a great find of a great coffee for me!
I really enjoy the capp. primo. I was sad to see Starbucks break away from Kraft and thus the Tassimo. I do not know how they are going to compare on the Keurig, but I know they have something up their sleeve (rumors were when I was there that Starbucks will launch this fall with K Cups and their own brewer, possibly even a milk component.) My local wal mart still has these in stock with a expiration date of August. The expresso from Starbucks is what makes this drink. It is robust and bold, just like typical Seattle coffee. This capp is for someone that likes to taste their espresso in the drink and not hide it behind flavors or sugar.
I actually just found these at a small kitchen store in a old outlet mall. They were still in date and have a few months left on them. The Verona from the Tassimo is very much like what you would get at Starbucks via drip form. It had the bold flavor that is the norm for them. It has a heavy body with a rich, smooth, and sweet flavor to it. They aroma is great when it is brewing. It was just a chance find on these and everyone keep checking the smaller stores if you want any.
This item is listed on Tassimo's website as the Tassimo intermediate model. It is very well built, has a decent water tank, and does its job very well. From a style stand point, it looks very well on my counter and is fairly long. This is much nicer than the Braun model that I had before. It is quieter and one of the best things is that the cleaning disk can now be stored in the unit. I have lost more than one from the Braun in the past. It is louder than my Keurig, but quieter than my Dolce Gusto. The machine is going to making a home on my counter for some time to come.

Great Product but alas is no more...
This is a great Latte. What made it great was the Starbucks Espresso Roast coffee. The espresso roast was much more pronounced in the latte than say the Maxwell House one. This is for someone that likes to really taste the espresso and want it to stand out in the drink.
Info --- These can still be found at certain Walmarts for around $9.95 and Kohls for $12.95. I found these and the Cappuccino T-Discs with an expiration on end of August 2011. So if you want them, they are still around for a short time at limited locations.
Great Product but is the price worth it?
The product itself is great. It is what comes with all the Tassimo Lattes. It produces a nice creamy steamed milk with just a hint of foam on top. Price wise just got get some Maxwell House Lattes that cost $6.50 and take the milk disks from it. They taste the same and you can get 8 Milks and 8 espressos for much less than one package of milk by itself.
Basic Milk Disk
This is just the basic Capp milk disk that comes with all the Capp products. It is nice to be able to get it by itself, but I feel that it is overpriced. I usually by the Maxwell House Capp's and Skinny Capp's. The milk is the same and I am getting 8 Milk Discs and 8 Espresso Disks for $6.49. You do the math and it comes out very poorly for buying them separately. I could be wrong, but the Tassimo rep told me awhile back that all the milk is the same.
Sad to see it go
I love Starbucks Breakfast blend for the Tassimo. I was able to get my hands on two more packages a few weeks ago and will be sad when it is gone. This is something that I look forward to having in the morning to get that extra kick to get going. This is one of Starbucks most mild blends, which also equates to more caffeine. I too hope they find a good replacement soon.
I agree it's sad news. I think Gevalia will provide replacement. Will hope it will be as GOOD :).
Not the best
Way too sweet and not enough Chai. When I make a Chai I like it to be spicy, milky, and just sweet enough. This Chai is not spicy at all and way too sweet. It has a very weird aftertaste and I will stick to making my own Chai's rather than buy this.
Great dark Roast for a non European Flavor
What I meant by my title is that it is a great coffee that does not have the European flavor profile. It is a dark roast and has a very full body. It is not as intense as the European counterparts and has a very clean finish. It is a great MH product and can be found locally for less than $6.00 a box. Between the product and the price you can not go wrong.

Great for someone that likes a Milk Chocolate
Milka is a great alternative to the Succhard Brand hot chocolate that is also available. This though I would recommend to those that like a much sweeter milk chocolate taste as apposed to the Succhard type of drink. Succhard is much richer and less sweet. My wife prefers the Milka and I prefer the Succhard. I guess it is all about your personal taste. I have tried this with a espresso shot and preferred the Succhard with a espresso shot to this one. The is really a to each his own thing.
I think for Single Serve Coffee Brewers Tassimo have the best Hot Chocolate solution since it's not a powder. Very rich "chocolaty" taste.
Your only choice for decaf espresso
I enjoy espresso a lot. One of the downfalls for me with the Dolce Gusto is that the only drink available in decaf was a Caffe Lungo. I was very pleased to see Gevalia and Tassimo offer a decaf Espresso available separate of a latte kit. It will never replace a true espresso due to the lack of pressure that the Tassimo can produce, but it is a great product. We keep a bin of various espressos, milks, and hot chocolates so we and our guests can mix and match to make their perfect drink. I was surprised to see how many people take the Decaf espresso and comment that they love it.
Yeap. I agree it's not a true Espresso in fact it's a Espresso Blend. For people who really love espresso please consider Nespresso or iperEspresso. But if you like Mocha or Latte this will work perfectly.
Twinings English Breakfast
I love Twining's English Breakfast tea. It is usually always in our house in tea bag form as I tend to go back and forth between coffee and tea. I prefer a stout tea and the T Disc version fit the bill perfectly. It was great to have tea done quickly with no fuss. I was quite surprised that it did not produce any tannin, which is what causes tea to be bitter if over steeped. All in all it is a great cup of tea for anyone that likes a great full bodied cup.
I highly recommend and it is great to keep in your assortment, especially if you have any guests that dislike coffee.
Great Iced Coffee
If you love a iced coffee that is sweet and milky, then this is perfect for you. It requires you to just have a glass of ice, brew, and go. It is the perfect summertime addition to your T Disc assortment. This was not quite as bold a coffee as I would have liked and I am used to, but for the ease of use, this one takes the win. It is very smooth and we have enjoyed it very much. I only wish I could find it locally and not have to deal with the shipping.
It's Maxwell House - A american cup of coffee
This is a good coffee. It is what most Americans would consider as a good cup of joe. It is much better than what you would find out, exclusive of a coffee shop. It fills a travel mug and it very hot and tasty. This is a medium roasted coffee and has a almost nutty taste to it when drunk black. What more can I say, It's Maxwell House and it is a staple of most Americans. I have noticed that many of my guests that are not adventurous with their coffee always tend to go for the MH T Discs, which helps us to make sure they are always on hand.
Cost is a major bonus for this one as well. At about $0.40 each locally, it is hard to beat.
Almost as good as the loose leaf version
I LOVE Tazo Awake Tea. This was a daily drinker when I had first hand experience with Starbucks. It is very bold blend of Tea and is far above any Ceylon or regular English breakfast. If you like a stout tea to get you going, then this is it. It is great black and with a little milk/sugar. This was also the basis of Starbucks Iced Tea until this past summer when the southern states switched to a single origin version.
Tip: Try this with a Latte T Disc and you will have a amazing Awake Tea Latte.
Want a iced tea --- Brew into a cup and set in the fridge or make iced tea ice cubes with it and brew over that ice.
Good, but not prefect Latte
This is a good and cheap latte product. The milk from all appearances and the labeling on the inside package is the same as the ones from Gevalia. I am guessing the price difference is in the quality of the espresso difference being used. I was able to pick these up at the local big box for $6.49 for 8 Total Lattes (8 Milk + 8 Espresso.) That makes a latte $0.81 and is quite a cost savings over a coffee house. The plus side is the fact that you can find them at most medium to high quality grocery stores and big box stores. This is a plus if there are no specialty stores near you.
Flavor - I prefer the Tassimo lattes over the Dolce Gusto lattes. This latte is very smooth and is a good intro into Lattes. It is a balanced blend with a very medium roasted espresso. It does not have the kick that Gevalia or Starbucks have, but is very good in it's own way. If you like a latte flavored and do not really care about a strong espresso taste, then this is for you. We keep a assortment of these disks available for guests so they can choose a milk and espresso combo that they desire.
