TASSIMO machines utilize a brewing system with multiple components to help you make a delicious drink with each brew. While these brewing systems are easy-to-use and convenient for your home brewing needs, there are some common problems with TASSIMO machines and their components. Most of these problems can be solved using a few troubleshooting techniques. Always make sure your machine is turned off and unplugged before attempting to fix any problems. Try these quick fixes to solve your TASSIMO machine problems:

  • Machine leaking from the bottom: This common problem results from the drip tray filling up, or the backsplash, water container, or piercing unit not being properly fitted. Remove and refit the drip tray, backsplash, water container and piercing unit.
  • Small brew sizes: This problem normally results from mineral build up in the machine. To solve this problem, properly descale your TASSIMO.
  • “Auto Mode” not working: This common problem results from the bar code reader getting dirty and therefore renders the reader unable to scan the T-Disc bar code. Clean the bar code window, or make your drink using the “Manual Mode.”
  • Stuck in “Standby” mode: This problem is usually a result of the brew mechanism not being properly closed. Re-open the brew mechanism to make sure that the T-Disc is placed on the T-Disc holder and firmly re-close the brew mechanism.

Mr.

3rd machine, this one 2 weeks old and again exploding discs. All the coffee grinds wind up in ones cup and all over the T disc inset area. Told by Tassimo that this dose not happen but they sent replacement machine anyways. Now happened again. Machine usage is 1,2 times a day at most.

Tassimo T20, brand new machine, I plug it in & ran 3 c ycles then the circuit blew, I changed wall plugs & still blows the circuit( red button) - returning item- very dissapointed

I think it's great point. We need to run a test and see how many watts Tassimo use. Will test it and let you know.

Cappuccino Problem

I love my Tassimo but have had problem recently with cappuccinos. It makesvery little foam and comes out almost like a latte. Any advice?

In this case I would contact Tassimo Customer Service (Customer Service at 1-877-TDISCS1 (1-877-834-7271). It looks like your pump not mixing air right.

grounds in my coffee

I am having problems brewing, the disc explodes and all the grounds end up in my cup, what is causing this

I love the chai tea latte. Returned my first machine because the tea and milk were coming out all around the lid - not through the dispensing hole. Now this second machine will not force all the milk out of the t-disc. I open the top after it is done with the creamer and the t-disc is still half full. How do I get it to empty completely? I don't want to open the lid, close it and then hit the green button again - that would make it too watery. Any suggestions? If not, I'm returning it for good.
Very frustrating.

I would try couple more Milk disks. But SHAKE them before every use. If it still doest it I'll call to Tassimo for replacement. Enjoy your cup, http://www.Aromacup.com

it randomly turns off

I got my tassimo three days go and it made 5 really good chai lattes but now it starts to brew the chai gets not even half way than all the lights turn on than the mashine turns off..how do i make it make a full cup again.

Exploding t discs

Bought this machine for Christmas. Disc exploded & spirted coffee grounds & hot water all over mjy kitchen work top & blouse!! I will take it back to the store from where I purchased it & request a full refund. Really nervous to use it again! Anybody else had the same problem?

Not working

My machine stays on standby when I put in a disk and close the lid. I have already opened and closed the lid several times hoping for some magic.., nothing... Ready to return this machine.. Aghhh

My Bosch Tassimo brewer is simply not working

a few hours ago it turned on,made a coffee and everything but now even the standby light isn't turning on. Short of opening it up and looking inside, I've done everything i could but there's no way to actually run the machine.

I have one f the first machines to come out, but lately i have been getting the grinds in every cup, some cups are full of grinds and other times it minimal. what do you think the issue is?

Can't get machine to brew

I have a T65 and when I turn it on, the "POWER" symbol/button is orange and the "LIGHT" symbol is red. It is stuck at this phase and won't proceed when you press the start (middle) button. Can anyone offer suggestions? Thanks.

Don't waste your money.

Machine is wasteful! If i put a disk in and put it in incorrectly or just accidentally for whatever reason push the brew button too soon it reads the disk as used and wont run it. I AM returning it.

I have been experiencing the coffee grounds in my cup. I took off the puncture spikes and cleaned it with a Q-tip and found a couple of the foil punch outs in side the machine where the coffee drips out. Once removed I used the cleaning disk and it works great. Hope that helps.
