Bosch Tassimo Suprema (T45) is one of the higher end Tassimo coffee makers (AKA Brewbots), yet still designed for regular household use. It has great features, easy controls and lets you brew whatever coffee you want in seconds.
The Tassimo Suprema is a single-serve pod brewing coffee maker, so you can make one cup of coffee at a time rather than a whole pot. The machine works by using quickly heated water and pressure, along with a specialized little "pod" of coffee called a T-Disc. You just pop in the Tassimo T-Disc and the brewbot reads the barcode on top to adjust all the settings automatically. You have a fresh cup of coffee in around a minute. Then toss out the spent pod. Nothing could be simpler (or cleaner).
Though you cannot use this machine with just any coffee grounds, the choices in Tassimo T-Discs is varied, and includes tea as well as coffee. Add in a milk disc and you can make lattes and cappuccinos too.
You can get the Tassimo Suprema in either black and gray, or red and black. The size of the machine is 11" high x 8" wide x 13.3" deep, and the cup holder will adjust to fit different size coffee cups (even tall travel mugs).

There is a water filter in the machine to give you clean-tasting water for every cup, and the display will tell you when its time to replace the filter. The Tassimo T45 comes with 2 replacement filter cartridges. The tank can be removed by a handle for easier filling and it holds about 65oz of water.
Because the T-Disc bar code controls the brewing, there are very few controls to use. The LED screen does take you through the steps and lets you know what brewing stage the machine is at. You can make some adjustments to the final brewing volume, which will also effect the strength of your cup of coffee or tea. Other than that, the machine takes care of the details.
The Tassimo Suprema Brewbot is a great machine for speed, cleanliness and convenience. Since the controls are handled by the machine, there is little learning involved and you can be brewing up your first cup within a minute or two even if you've never used a single-serve type of coffee maker before.
This model is very good for home use, but can also be used in a small office when you don't want to worry about brewing or cleaning chores. A group of coffee-drinkers no more than 4 or 5 people will find this a good machine to have in the lunch room.
